Fri 20 August 20:00

Howard Cheetham, a commercial diver, will be giving a lecture at the clubhouse on 20 August.

He will be presenting photos and videos of some of his recent work including oilfield installation work in Canada, hyperbaric welding in Egypt and use of a diving bell.

Howard will be bringing a number of exhibits including a Kirby Morgan diving helmet which is used by present surface supply air/nitrox divers and an 80 year old Siebe Gorman Standard Dress helmet (like the one pictured).

Because of the start time there will be no pool session on this date.

This should be a very entertaining evening and will be of particular interest to trainees and newer club members so please try to attend if you can.
